Good Food Great Staff

Good basic food, friendly staff, clean Watch out when ordering a LARGE Beer it's like 3 beers in one. Open early for a cheap breakfast Open late for us shift workers and bar flies. Right on Lundy's Lane can't miss it it looks like a giant silver flying saucer 6768 Lundys Lane, Niagara Falls Open Mon-Thu,Sun 6am-3am Fri-Sat 6am-4am

Great in off season

The Saucer is a Niagara Staple and we try to get in there at least once a month, but try to stay clear in the summer months during tourist season. If it gets busy in there the service will slow to unacceptable levels. But its a great place to go off season for a decent meal at decent prices. The sandwiches are all very good. The saucer fries are a must. My favorite meal there is the chopped steak dinner. The interior is dated and many times you will freeze in there as the AC always tends to be on full blast.

Terrible from local

The flying saucer has always been one of my favourite restaurants in Niagara Falls with excellent food and very friendly staff. I've recently been hearing bad things about them and thought "it must have been a bad night". I hadn't been there in a while so i thought I'd go treat myself. It was crowded and noisy when i got there, so I sat down to relax. The food took over 45 minutes to get to us while other tables that came in after us got served before us. When the food did get to us the fries were not the same ones they used to use and tasted freezer burnt. The burger used the regular store bought frozen patties AND IT WAS BURNT!! It used regular processed cheese with one slice of burnt bacon and minimal toppings. It was bland and crunchy. Disgusting!! My girlfriend's burger was exactly the same, so it wasn't just a mistake, they just don't care about food, only money, clearly! On top of that, my son's kids order of grilled cheese and fries contained MORE food and fries than our adult meals!! To top it off we sat with empty drinks for over 20 minutes chewing on an overcooked burger, so when we asked another server that was walking by we got attitude in return and no manners at all!!! If money is all that the saucer cares about now, I will NEVER return there again!!

Not so good

I live in the Falls and I've been to the FS a number of times. Never once have I left saying, "Gee, I'm glad I just ate there...". Not the worst food in the world, but pretty nondescript even for diner fare. Last time I was there I had a club house and while it was real turkey there was hardly any of it. Minimal bacon, and what looked like a regular old cheese slice. Fries tasted like they'd been frozen before frying. It's the kind of place you eat at once just to say you've been, and then don't g0 back.

We had their $1.29 breakfast special with coffee and orange juice. They brought coffee in carafe which was great and my medium size juice was quite huge. Foods were just simple breakfast. Nothing to complain, especially for that cheap price. However, you should ask them for $1.29 breakfast special because you won't see it on their menu. Other than that, everything else was pretty much great.
