One of if not the best meal I've had in Ottawa.

My girlfriend and I had reservations yesterday at 5:30. As soon as we went in we were greeted, had our coats taken and immediately brought to our table. The first thing I noticed was the pleasant atmosphere with suiting music We both started out with a salad, she had the mixed and I had the Caesar as we wanted to save room for the main course. Our first course arrived within 10 minutes of us ordering and was served with fresh bread and a triple tray of hot peppers, olives and and oil base. The Caesar was one of the best I've ever had and my girlfriend commented on how fresh and crispy hers was. I ordered the Penne Fortunato (italian sausage, hot peppers, onion and a tomato basil sauce) and she ordered the Penne al salmone (Not sure entirely what was in it, certainly Salmon and a cream sauce), our meals came within 15 min of us ordering and we were both greatly impressed with the presentation and overall taste of the food. For dessert we shared a slice of New York style cheesecake, which yet again arrived quickly and was beautifully presented and just delicious. During the course of our meal our server was very attentive to our needs, making sure we were enjoying everything. Overall it was one of, if not the best out of my restaurant experiences in the Ottawa region.

The best italian restaurant in Ottawa

I lived in Italy for seven years, so YES I'm very picky with Italian food, so it has to be like made at home. The music, the food, the service, everything was excellent!!!

wifes birthday

Went for my wifes birthday it was my first time at Tosca's was reccommended by a friend,the waiter was very attentive always asking us if we are ok.The food was excellent and the atmosphere was very upscale and trendy it was like something in New York.Will be telling all my friends about this restaurant.

Not worth the time or the effort

I would not recommend Tosca. I have been on a couple of occasions, and the service is really slow. Today we waited over an hour and a half for our meal, and several in our party ended up having to simply leave before being served. The food was hot but bland, and definitely not worth the price.

Canada Day Party...

Went down for Canada Day and we had an amazing time. Service was excellent, food was awsome...they had a dj there were people dancing everywhere....couldnt ask for a better day....and defenitely this is my favourite restaurant and i highly reccommend this restaurant..... GOOD JOB TOSCA................................
