Always order out from here. Owner is very kind and pizzas are always great. Some people rate poorly for eat in and delivery - can't speak to those - but pick up is fantastic!
Although it looks the part of one of those places that is a bit rundown but has awesome food it isn't. The food took a very long time to arrive... I guess to get my steak looking as grey as it did. The salad and the onion soup had rancid crutons and the spagetti wasn't the best for a place with spagetti in the name. The tables were so jammed together that people had to squeeze by with butts overhanging the table. Had we not already got our drinks we would have ran out of there. I almost expected Gordon Ramsay to jump out. STAY AWAY!
So we arrive at 12:13 p.m and our waitress takes our order. We are the only patrons in the joint! Imagine lunch on Friday and we are it. The bread came quickly, the salad shortly thereafter great. 30 minutes later we asked if they could put in a bag because it was our lunch 'hour'. Keep in mind this was there daily special. The wait was unacceptable. An empty restaurant, daily special 30 minutes then ask for a doggy bag. Just awful
I came here once with my family. It took the waitress a long time to come take our order ( She had one other table). We finally placed our order and we wait over 25 minutes til she came back and told us they didn't have any batter ready for the fish and chips and then 10 minutes after that told us that the kitchen didn't know how to marinate the chicken wings so overall we wait over 45 minutes for all our food to come out!
Great little restaurant. Fantastic food, huge portions, excellent price, friendly staff. Pizza is very good, wings are big and very meaty, and the different pasta's taste like homemade. Never had a bad experience yet. Can be busy on popular nights but well worth the wait. One of our favorites.
We decided to eat here as we loved the old place. Bad idea...When we walked in, we were hardly greeted by what we thought was the worst waitress ever. We sat down and were given menus. I ordered an entree because we got free salad and bread. We figured we didn't need an appetizer with all of that included. When we got our salads, they were soggy and too garlicy. Then we got our spaghettis and it was decent. Not the worst but def not the best. We did not ever receive any bread but we did notice everyone else around us getting some. We felt rushed as the place was small and there were people waiting for tables. I would not return here since there are tons of other places to go in Peterborough that has better food and service for the money.
