As regular visitors to Stratford we had frequented Bentley's in the past and so were fully aware that the food and service are passable at best, mediocre at worst. Unfortunately, not having made reservations for some of the good restaurants, we were grudgingly forced to give Bentley's another try after an absence of about 3 years. Perhaps things had changed we thought. No such luck. The food is poor to mediocre, the service hurried and inattentive, and the menu overpriced. It is also very noisy and crowded. Do yourself a favour, spend a little extra for some of the finer establishments in town and avoid this place at all costs!

Wings were OK but seriously over priced for what you get. Burger was terrible and over priced: over cooked, dry, small (about size of four loonies) on stale bread. Service was slow: waitress was sorting cutlery in booth the beside us, did not get up when we walked in - we sat ourselves- continued sorting cutlery until we asked her to take our order then went back to sorting cutlery after that, so we had the 'clinking; noise right next to us for most of our dinner. This dinner ruined an otherwise nice evening at the theatre. Bad food, incredibly over priced for what you get and lousy service.

I live in town, but I have only been here a few times. Last June my friend and I decided to eat out and we sat ourselves out on the patio as it was a nice day, and waittted and waaited. Finally we went in to see if someone was there to serve us. Someone comes and we are served like normal and in good time. We got our bill, and then the waitress dissappeared..so after five minutes we figured we must have to go in to pay,..we could have easily left! We could have gotten up and walked away down the street because they had clearly forgotten about us, haha. We went into the restaurant, stood by one of the cash machines, one waitress stood there on the computer and she could clearly see us, yet she didn't ask if we needed anything, we ask and she tells us to go over to the other one closer to the washroom..we do that, wait forever, finally pay and leave. Annoying!!!!
