Access Platis Custom Cleaners

This place is a winner! The owner (“Gianni” is Greek for John) has been in business for decades, but he clearly knows customer service. My cleaning task was complicated (i.e. a cloth tapestry from the 1950’s) and there was a risk that solvents would burn off the finish. Gianni was helpful and accountable. The job was done in one day. The price was absurdly fair. And the cleaning — wow! Six decades of dust and dirt...removed. The colours are back. A triumph! Bravo, Park Ave. Cleaners!

Terrible Experience!!

RIDICULOUSLY OVERPRICED!!!! these are the most expensive cleaners in the city (yet beside a car wash and a SUBWAY on Eastern). We made the mistake of not looking at our bill when we brought 8 pieces in. 8 pieces of clothing (with minor alterations on 2 men's jackets) came to $420!!! Gasp. When I called them after I saw the bill, Paulette told me in a very curt voice that "clients do NOT dictate our prices" and she would give me 20% off of only the drycleaning. so essentially $30 off :(

One of the best dry-cleaners around, outstanding service all around.
