Had to take a minute to thank El Cheapo because their movers went above and beyond. We had rain to deal with, a narrow staircase at the first location and a tiny elevator at our new apartment but they were efficient and professional- I felt like we didn't lose any time at all, and it kept our costs down. Thanks E.C. if I have to move again, you will be my company of choice!
I have used this company so many times over the past decade. They have been in business for 30 years! I highly recommend this service. They are affordable, friendly, informative, organized - they have saved my inventory from previous year's moves to make it super easy to book with them again.
They have always wrapped all of my fragile items in moving blankets or plastic wrap material to prevent breakages. Highly highly recommend!
Booked for today. They showed up an hour late and then sat in front of our house for an hour talking with their office. They said they would not move us as our couch was too big and they don’t move appliances. The office then said they would move some of our things and the next thing you know the guys drove off in the truck and left us without any movers. We were unable to move today because of it. This was a terrible experience and we will never use them again. Do not book them!
They put my stuff in the garbage without consent.We signed a contract for our stuff to be moved from our home to a storage unit.Once it was emptied we noticed that a huge antique floor lamp was missing. We called El Cheapo to inquire about its whereabouts and they claimed that we told them they could throw it away because the base was wobbly.It was a solid brass lamp.No one would have told them that.Do not trust this company.They then tried to give me money in exchange for my silence.Unethical!
Had a great experience with El Cheapo Movers they gave me a seniors discount for moving my mother into care which I really appreciated. I cant move heavy items myself but they put all the furniture exactly where I wanted it and the movers were polite and kind. The office staff were informative and professional. And the service was a good price. I would highly recommend the company.
Zero customer service! You don’t end up saving any money with this company, just spending more time and money fixing what their movers damage!! Ridiculous, never again!
This team made sure that my home appliances were all safe and reached our new home unscratched. They gave updates on a timely manner. They were quick and easy to work with.
Do not hire these so called movers they will break your chandelier scratcher doors and floors and refused to pay for the repairs . The so-called manager ( Ted )took two weeks to reply to my email . After making five different phone calls to get a reply with the refusal to pay for the damages. DO NOT HIRE EL CHEAPO- DO NOT TURSED The name says it all Rob

It was cheaper than I thought it would be given past moving experiences. I will definitely use them again and will highly recommend this company!
