The reviews were somewhat mixed but we thoroughly enjoyed the dinner. The Sea Bass was excellent- cooked just right and so was the scallop appetizer. The goat cheese appetizer was very good. the chocolate torte was sinfully delicious and the portion just right. The Angus steak, while it was flavourful, had a little too much fat and grizzle. The service was excellent and quick despite it being a very busy evening. All in all a very pleasant dining experience.

My wife and I have heard many good things about...

My wife and I have heard many good things about Il Postino, and since we haven't been before we decided to try it out. We arrived around 6:30 and the restaurant was almost full. We were helped right away, and given a seat despite how busy they were. Aswell, our meals were cooked to perfection, and eventhought there was a bit of a wait due to the volume of people, it was definately worth it. From the food to the warm service, even with a full restaurant, our night definately surpassed our expectation, and we will forsure be returning

I have enjoyed both lunch and dinner on many occasions in this delightful restaurant. The food is excellent, if a little pricey; the staff, and in particular the charming owner/hostess, make one feel perfectly at home; the decor and ambience makes for a great intimate meal with friends or family.

We have been to IL Postino on many occassions...

We have been to IL Postino on many occassions, and are pleased with each and every visit. Both of us love the Ontario rack of Lamb. Usually we each order an appetizer and split a main course, as we find this more than enough to satisfy our hunger without overindulging in the fine food offerings. Staff is always wonderful and eager to please. We explore many GTA resturants and always enjoy returning to Il Postino. Highly recommended.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Menu offered something special for all of our tastes. Kids (teenagers) thought it was the best Italian they've ever had.....and we agree.
