WE FOUND THE FOOD TO BE QUITE SALTY. MOST...
WE FOUND THE FOOD TO BE QUITE SALTY. MOST DEFINITLY WOULD NOT CONSIDER THIS TO BE AUTHENTIC PORUTGESE CUISINE. THE FRIED FISH WAS TOO SOFT,ALMOST AS IF NOT COOKED THOROUGHLY. WE ALSO AS ONE PREVIOUS REVIEWER EXPERIENCED, MEDIOCRE SERVICE AND FELT UNWANTED AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT. THE ATMOPHERE IS QUITE NICE AND THE LIVE SINGING WE HAD ON THIS PARTICULAR NIGHT WAS ENTERTAINING. OVERALL WOULD NEVER RETURN.

The seafood rice dish was not that great - the rice was mushy and the fish wasn't as fresh as it could have been - appeared to have freezer burn. Atmosphere and entertainment was great. The service was inpeccable however the food we ordered did not meet my standards. We have eaten fish dishes at many other restaurants around the GTA and this was disappointing in comparison...

Excellent Place and Food! Extremely nice place; Very classic, clean and roomy and in my oppinion one of the higher class places in T.O. Not like some of the places where you can barely sit 3 people at a table for 4. Food was excellent! The platter for two (seafood) was so much food we barely finished 1/2 of it. I mean there is so much food that they bring, you better bring your stomachs. Staff was just great too, service is exactly as you would expect. Overall i would rate it as one of my favourite places. I just have one thing i was sort of "not happy with". There was so much sea food and shell that few times i thought i was eatting rice but there is shell in it and it crunched under my teeth. You have to be carefull a bit. Still i give it a 10!!!!

Excellent environtment, set up very classic live music very pleasant and romantic same time entertaning. Fast service, constant attention to details, Food as expected, to the best of Portuguese cusine. A must try and sure place for special ocasions.
