Montreal salons always seem to be too expensive for a good job or a bad job for a goo price. Online I found O'coiffure, conveniently located, reasonable prices and run by Oglivies so figured it had to be a good quality.
I've been a bleach blonde for about 6 months and LOVING IT, I booked appointment really just to get my roots touched up. I get there and tell the girl I just want my roots touched up. She is looking at hair and finally says, why don't we do a light blond rather than a bleach blonde. I'm not convinced. So she shows my pictures of various celebrities, all of them have very light blond hair so I figure why not.
After sitting with the color on my hair watching it slowly turn brown it's time to rinse, at this point I'm praying it only looked dark and some water and shampoo will put it back to the nice blond. As I'm sitting blowdrying my hair I realise it's not only a lot darker than I wanted, but also has a hint of green to it. So I say, "it seems a bit green", to which girl says the lights have a tint of green to them, (no one elses hair looked green, plus what kind of salon uses green tinted lights!!!???)
Extremely upset but at this point there is no turning back so I figure I'll pay and go home and cry. Online it said a coloring was 50$, girl rings me up and its 97$. I have short hair, not medium length , short. So I say online it said 50$, to which she replies that I needed more die so it was 85$ plus tax!
All in all I do not recommend going, for 97$ dollars I'm sure somewhere else would have given me blond hair.
