Great vegetarian menu

We have been eating at Montana's for some time now. I think the Montana's in Cambridge is probably the better ones in the chain. I ahve always been happy with the food. Last time i went there i tried their vegetarian burger with mediterranean toppigs, and i must say that this was really one of the best veggie burgers that i ever ate. I have tried other things in their menu too and food has been pretty good always.

Typical Chain Restaurant. Have been a few times now, and service can be hit or miss depending on the day. The food is normally consistent except for the occasional issue. On this trip, the goat cheese pasta was good, but very rich. The roasted red peppers in the salad have a funny taste, they are probably canned. The burger was good but nothing exciting. The chicken was slighty dry but the sauce made up for it. The nachos unfortunately, looked like the bottom of a bag of crushed chips. There was also 2 very burnt fries at the bottom of the plate. I have had this item at least 5 times before, and it had never looked like this. We asked our server and she said it is because they are homemade and it was normal, and the fries were from the fryer. The fries were no big deal, but it is hard to share nachoes when you have to eat them with a fork. Our server was frendly and game back semi frequently. The manager even stopped by, and when we asked him about the nachos, he said it was normal for that to happen. However, they still tasted fine, and the food arived fairly quickly. I will probably be back but will just stick to entrees next time. This was probably just a one time deal.

Are some of you other folks kidding me?

This is what I hate about review sites - just the complainers who have nothing better to do? Look - I've ate there twice in the last week and both times were terrific - I only stumbled on this site by googling to find out what time the rib special was on (answer is all day , by the way). We sat on the bar side - the server (pretty sure it was Dave...) was friendly and attentive - had a great sense of humour as well. No, it's not fine dining. If you want fine dining, take your business elsewhere. But if it's a roadhouse style with good food and nice people that you're after, I'd gladly put this up against any other restaurant of similar style any time.

I'm disgusted

we came to this restaurant thinking we were going to enjoy a nice satisfying dinner, and a break from the kitchen turns out we were wrong.First off for starters the soft drinks we ordered were watery and flat. Then when our meals finally came around our baked potatoes looked all dried up like they'd been sitting out all day. The burgers my brother- in - law ordered were so dry and distasteful. To top it off the fries we were served had been stale/dry ? fries aren't suppose to be chewy right ?

That was bad! : (

The service was horrid they couldn't keep up with our demand. And the waiters charged us 40 pops and 10 beers when we only ordered 5 pops and 2 beers with 1 wine. We may go agian just to see if they repeat this horrid service.
