The food, atmosphere and service were great. My steak was excellent the way I wanted it. The pizza was hot and crunchy, loved it. No complaint, no regrets....

I don't know why I love this place so much, I just do. Their menu is inventive (for a sports bar..) and I always find it to be a clean, bustling restaurant. Service is always pleasant and efficient.
I truly enjoy that you can eat healthy there if you choose, but you can also do some delicious caloric damage too..what with their nachos and sliders etc etc...
I enjoy the drink deals, I enjoy the consistency of the food, and the patio is great in the summer time. Sure it's out of the way for us downtown folk, but I highly recommend the place, even if we get teased incessantly by our friends..I don't care. It's delicious.

The 3 mini sliders were loaded in salt seasonings and I must have drank 3 gallons of water last nite. My husband had the penne carbonara with sausage and chicken which was very small for the price and the chicken was actually chicken fingers cut up !!!! Yuk!!! Was not impressed . Service was blah considering it was so quiet. Wouldnt waste our time or money again!
Great atmosphere in this place. I had the bison burger. It was amazing. The 7.77 Molson mini pitchers are a fantastic value! I can't wait to go back to this place!
We made the 1/2 hour+ drive from Kitchener to visit Shoeless Joe's because we had visited one in Toronto a couple months ago, and the Calamari and Fish & Chips were soooo good I was craving to have it again!
The food was not quite as good as what we had in T.O. Calamari app was slightly rubbery (overcooked) but still not bad, we certainly didn't complain. The sauce they serve with it (Chipotle Ranch I believe) is amazing! Fish & Chips satisfied the craving, but was just not as good as our previous experience - I am positive that it was a different type of fish (apparently they switch it up)....it was still enjoyable, just not fantastic.
Near the end of the meal, I also found a large FEATHER, which had been deep fried and sitting at the bottom of my portion sweet potato fries....okay, I am a waitress myself and obviously I know these things can happen, and I didn't actually bite into it or anything, so I didn't make a huge deal about it, but I did mention it to our server. She was super nice about it and we received a free dessert which we loved! It was called "The Cookie" and basically it was a big warm cookie baked and served in a small skillet and topped with ice cream and more cookie pieces - it was delicious and a perfectly nice compensation for the unexpected addition found in my meal!
I don't remember our server's name, but her service was spot on for the whole meal, and she always seemed to appear just when we needed something. I left $20 tip on our $65 bill, which she totally deserved, and I hope that when we return that we are served by her again!
I should mention that my fiance ordered a combo of 3 different Slider burgers with Lattice fries and they were amazing - I sampled, and he agreed - best sliders anywhere, especially the Bison one! Lattice fries very crisp and tasty.
So, overall, not a flawless experience, but still a good one....working the restaurant biz ourselves, we are not people to let minor flaws ruin a nice lunch out as some people do. Patio was very nice on a hot summer's day! We will be back soon!
I ordered the Bison Burger while the girlfriend ordered the Sliders. The Bison Burger was delicious however my only complaint is the bun it comes on. It was flimsy and broke apart, however all in all was very tasty. The Sliders were amazing. You could tell they weren't these flimsy frozen burgers, and were so filling, I had to finish them for my girlfriend. No complaint there! Service was ok, nothing positive, nothing negative. Ordered a mini pitcher of beer which cost a few bucks and filled my glass twice. Overall, we will visit again.
First visit to this restaurant on a quiet Saturday evening. Restaurant was fairly busy but no wait for a table, a pleasant surprise. Only negative was the longer than expected delay for the waitress to arrive for the drink orders. Everyone was pleased with the orders (Bison burger is a mouthful - be warned), including desserts and coffee.
Decor was entertaining, washrooms were clean, and the service was very attentive to make up for the initial delay. Cost worked out to about $25 pp including a mini-pitcher of beer and drinks.
Will definitely come back.
Have ordered a burger twice and the third time was still "strike out" they were burnt and the triple cheese barely had any cheese on it and for the prices they charge I would expect half a block!!
I ate here last night for the first time. Overall I really enjoyed it other then it is too expensive for what we had to eat. Our bill was nearly $50 with tip for chicken fingers and sweet potato fries with an order of garlic bread with cheese. The food was good but too much money for something rather basic to prepare. Our server was good. The place is decorated very nice. The washrooms were clean and overall it was good.
Best Bang For Buck, I've never been so pleased for price or quality of steak as I was at this location, and the vegetables (yes veggies) were as tasty as veggies can be. All members of my party were more then satisfied with their meals, food presentation was what you would expect of restaurant with twice the price. Definitely will return in hope they are consistant with their quality and service!
Not really sure what to say. The service was adequate at best. The waitress knew a lot more than she let on and let us make a number of *very* poor choices because she was able to up-sell us and make more money on the bill. Specifically, I asked if I could substitute the bread on my wrap for a 'tandoori wrap' which sounded appetizing. Yes, no problem, but it will cost more money. Fine. Unfortunately the tandoori wrap was nothing more than a dry pita. When I advised the waitress of this at the end of our meal she explained that she knew this and agreed it was not very good. I was not impressed that she just let us order it without offering that it was bad, especially considering we had to pay extra for it.
TImeliness of service was poor especially considering the restaurant was empty. Overall, not very impressed.
Went in not expecting much. We were seated immediately by hostess in the bar. The server was very attentive to our needs. We both started off with the caesar salad. Nothing too special about it.
I'm very picky about how my steak is cooked so if it isn't up to par, it's going back. It was cooked perfectly to rare and my wife's was done to medium; just right. The lattice fries were hot and crispy. We rounded out the meal with the cheesecake. All in all, a great meal.
Another 'ok' meal at Shoeless Joe's. I like their consistency, not wild about their quality or tastiness.
Still it's convenient.
Sat in the bar this time where the service is a bit more uneven (server also tended bar), but the booths are bigger in there.
Fries were very good! My husband was okay with the steak but thought the ribs were very good. Service was not so good. The goat cheese salad was drenched(I mean drenched!!) with balsamic dressing. I ate about 1/3 and told the waitress I that I couldn't eat anymore. She said sorry, took it too the kitchen and that was it.....?? Lovely, eh? Paid full price too!

I come here all the time and find that most of their menu is ~ok but not really dining out quality. However, their triple play burger is awesome. I could barely finish it and I'm a big eater. The soup was too salty (like their french onion soup). I'm so sad they don't have sweet potato fries anymore! Their service was excellent which i can always count on every time. (Just wish the food was just as good). They don't have their special menu anymore either which was great. I come here often because it's right next to my house. Their menu is pretty boring for a regular.
grilled vegetables were very very good. Much better than I expected. Vegetable wrap was very good, and portions were not too large which I liked. Service was prompt and courteous but nothing special but you wouldnt expect much at a roadhouse like this. Overall I was very happy and we were not rushed by server. Great job guys

The sauce inside the pot pie was too salty for my taste. The steak pieces were ~ok but I've had better. The crust was good. I really like the sweet potato fries the come with it but i wish they didn't pre-salt it. I love their coffee! We were in a very large group and the service was fantastic. Our waitress was very attentive and there was no problem giving each person separate bills.
